Spurs

Danny Rose’s left footed screamer off the volley against Arsenal. The commentary is perfect:

My Favorite Spurs Players:1. Luka Modric. In my opinion, he’s the best player on the team. Severely underrated, he is the cornerstone of the Tottenham attack. Great field vision, creates chances for himself and others, and always a threat with the ball at his feet. Plus, he’s Croatian.
2. Ledley King. Arguably, the best defender in Europe. He would be a regular starter for England if it weren’t for his chronic injury problems. He is an opponent’s nightmare, and has the ability to make the tackle in any situation.
3. Jermain Defoe. Cemented himself as one of England’s top strikers with a 5 goal performance vs. Wigan this year. Dangerous in front of the net and can score many different ways. Got the call-up to Fabio Capello’s World Cup squad, earned two World Cup starts, and his first World Cup goal was the winner against Algeria that put England through to the knockout stages.
4. Gareth Bale. At 20, he is one of Spurs’ best young players. Is versatile and can play anywhere on the left side. His impressive performances in the spring showed why he will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come with Spurs. Won Barclays Player of the Month award in April, a month which he saw several starts for Spurs, two goals and a winner against Chelsea, earning him Man of the Match.
5. Niko Kranjcar. Another Croatian Yiddo, which instantly makes him one of my favorites. Just signed in September of 2009, he has shown great form in his appearances with Spurs, scoring 6 goals this season. I hope he can find his way into the lineup and really impress in the upcoming season.
